Aussie financial journalist Andrew Turner says it is now or never to get back the office supply business.
“I think it’s a matter of when, not if,” Mr Turner said.
Aussie Office Supply Walker Office Supply is one of the big new products introduced in Australia in 2017 and is a great way to boost office supply.
The supply is a huge opportunity for businesses to increase their productivity.
And it’s one of many new products in the market.
But there are concerns the Walkers are just another office supply store.
Mr Turner says a number of people have told him they are unhappy about the walker store and they do not like the idea of being the ones to pick the supplies up.
It is a big concern for business owners and the public, he said.
“If you can have a great business and you don’t have to compete with other companies and that is what I see happening in office supply now, that’s a big problem,” Mr Walker said.
“And that’s not necessarily a bad thing.”
Mr Walker said he would like to see more competition in the supply chain.
“I have heard from people in the office space that they are actually having trouble getting their supplies,” he said, adding that many people would rather buy from their local store rather than go online.
One company in particular is hoping to take on the Walker business.
The new company is called Walker Supplies and is set to open in the Adelaide CBD next month.
Its CEO, Matthew Walker, said he is optimistic the new business can be a success.
“We’re hoping to bring office supply back to Australia, we’re hoping it’s going to be a very good company that we can support,” he told ABC News Breakfast.
“There are a lot of good companies out there that supply office supply to other companies.”
But Mr Walker acknowledged that a number would be disappointed to see Walkers in their supply chain, particularly in the retail market.
“You would think that the retail stores would be able to buy office supplies in the supermarket and we think they will, we think that would be a lot less of a problem,” he explained.
He said the company had been working with the Walkering to get them to buy in-store.
“They are very keen to make sure they are going to support our local retail businesses and provide the supply,” he added.
Mr Walker also pointed to the benefits to local businesses of having a supply chain in place.
“The Walkers have done a great job of supporting our local business and helping them with their supply, so it will be really good for our businesses in the long run,” he continued.
“In the short term, there are some positives for our local businesses.”
And there’s a lot more good that can come from having that supply chain going through.
“But the walkers aren’t the only supply store to have an unhappy customer base.
Several people have expressed concerns about the company’s new store, with some of the complaints being related to its pricing.
Some have said it is not as good as a rival store, while others have expressed concern about the quality of its supplies.
There are also complaints about how the Walkners are charging for office supplies and Mr Walker says it will change in time.”
