When you’ve spent $50,000 on a new desk and desk lamp at Ikea or a new chair at Barnes & Noble, it might feel like a bargain.
But there’s another option that might save you some cash, according to a new report from the American Council on Science and Health.
If you’re shopping for a new computer, you can get a cheaper version for about $100, the council found.
And if you’re looking to get into the home office or office supplies business, you might want to consider using discount office supplies.
The council, which tracks the state of the U.S. economy, analyzed data from the National Association of Home Builders, which provides a national database of home builders and suppliers.
The group says home building has become a growing segment of the economy and that the supply of office supplies is the most important category for job growth.
The report said that home builders were responsible for buying about 1.8 million square feet of office space in the U, accounting for 8 percent of the country’s office supply needs.
The most expensive office supplies came from the home building sector, which accounted for roughly 4 percent of overall supply costs, according the council.
It also found that office supplies accounted for just under half of the total value of office furniture and appliances, which made up another 2.7 percent of total supply.
