AUGusta, Maine (AP) The office supply company that specializes in office supply solutions has announced it’s going out of business, citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
Northeastern Office Supplies Group Inc. announced in a statement that it’s shut down its business on Tuesday.
It says the company was not equipped to handle the increased demand for office supplies.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have decided to discontinue operations of Northeastern office supplies,” the company said in a press release.
“We are extremely grateful for the support we have received during this time.”
The company was founded in 2005 by two college students who began building and operating the business.
They eventually expanded to include other offices and expanded to Maine.
In addition to offices, the company also sells office supplies, furniture and other supplies for homes, offices and businesses.
The company says it will continue to work with its suppliers.
